Arizona Dreamin’

Cactus wren

This fella was hopping around almost too fast for me but I got the photo, mostly.  It flipped its head around just as I was snapping then flew off.  The cactus wren is a species of wren that is endemic to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northern and central Mexico. It is the state bird of Arizona, and the largest wren in the United States.

I managed to get to physical therapy but when I sat up from lying down, the room began to spin. (I'm writing this on Friday and I'm still lightheaded.) I also made it to my doctor's office for my annual check up. All was good but I have a couple of referrals to follow up on some routine things.

Thanks for all of the comments, stars and hearts on this week's blips.  I'm one grateful blipper!

I wondered what my parents did to fight boredom before the internet. I asked my 17 brothers and sisters and they didn’t know either.
