Those lugs again (Day 3725)
Awake at stupid o'clock this morning so my beautiful wife could catch the ferry south again. Sigyn and I went out for a wander a bit later and, surprisingly, it was cool enough that I needed a sweatshirt. It had rained overnight and the ground was beginning to dry.
The morning was spent not doing much at home. A call out to a job in town will have to wait until tomorrow because road closures for the Island Games in Kirkwall would have made getting to the customer's house near enough impossible.
Late morning I took Sigyn to Wasdale for a wander. She loped slowly after a few rabbits, then spent a while with her face jammed in the holes they had disappeared into. It was hot work so she cooled off in the loch until I persuaded her to come out so we could head for home.
After lunch I headed for the horses, arriving under dramatic skies (extra). George was happy to be out again and charmed a few tourists along the way.
