Our Last Campsite of the Trip *****

Here we are in Darlington at LV’s Camping and Caravanning Site. This is one of the most reasonable sites we have stayed at and so only too keen to come back for more. Apart from excellent facilities, wash room, shower and fully fitted kitchen, the site has graced us with healthy meals and they even have a resident crossword aid for the Guardian crossword.

Apart from that, local knowledge is second to none and they have gone the extra mile by conducting local tours and even introduced us to members of the indigenous population. I can’t say enough about the friendly service and welcome. I would recommend this to any of my fellow travellers but because space is limited only members of the LV club can book the site. However, if the company ever expands to accommodate greater numbers this would be a great place to visit. 5 stars!
