Deviation

Today saw more busy programming, as I create a variant of one of our solvers. It's very satisfying work. At the end of the afternoon, one of A's friends came round to discuss an upcoming walk, so I joined the conversation to comment on river crossings in the area. When she left, we decided to go out to eat, which meant walking Django first. Since I'd not yet had any exercise, I took him out, taking the path pictured. Normally I walk just inside the area of trees so I can visit the Turf zone at Knightslaw Tower but I hold that and it was supposed to be a short walk. When I returned, we went to Stewart Brewing, arriving just in time to order pizzas before the kitchen shut. They were good, but the beer was better!
