What I've Done

Neglected

It's a mono. Always best LARGE on BLACK

Had a few hours at Silloth with ByBrian - we both shot a little Infra Red as well as colour. This was one of the first shots I took this morning, of an old green painted shelter close to the beach. I did shoot it in colour, but the dark green paint, green grass and blue sky made it more about the colours than the textures. For me the IR version brought out more of the texture of the shelter, whilst subduing the textures of the grass.

In processing I duplicated the background layer, added a touch of gaussian blur and changed the blending mode to Soft light to give that slightly eerie glow that IR film always managed so wonderfully.
