Birthday

None of my wildlings had a easy birth. This chap was 16 days late. And I was induced for 4 days before we ended up in theatre.  He would cry for around 20 hours a day and literally would never sleep, it took such a long time for doctors to stop brushing me off when I knew he was ill as a baby. But we survived that stage. And there have been many many stages over his 11 years. Although some days can be difficult he is such a joy. My firstborn who always hugs and kisses me at night and tells me he loves me. He has such a kind soul and he is a protector of the ones he loves.

He has been asking for a long time for a phone for his birthday and I hid it this morning so it would be the last gift he opened. And my photos show just how happy he was when he opened his gift.

Mr R is away with work. So we had a very early visit to nana and grandads this morning before he had to leave.

It's been a laid back day for the wildlings as I try to make it as stress free as I can. They have played on tech and art and I have got on with what has needed done.

But now I'm not feeling quite grand. Not sure if it's the lack of sleep ir the bug that has done the rounds. I've taken some anti sickness tablets though.

I shall be climbing into bed when the wildlings go tonight that's for sure.
