Poppy

There is only one of these in flower in the skinny drive bed at the moment. I have missed earlier ones. I bit the bullet this morning as the weather forecast is of rain this evening, and cut the grass. Got to be the first time for weeks. It was quite close out there this morning and I would not have been surprised it it had rained then. But got the job done and must say it looks like someone cares about the place. But it was draining as the air got quite heavy as if there was going to be a thunder storm, but cleared. and by lunch time it had cleared. This afternoon has been pleasant, and I have done very little. I still feel tired though,

Now a G&T has been poured and enjoyed and at 5.45pm it is time to start thinking about getting dinner on the go, and settle down for the evening.
