Storm Clouds Gathering

An early start for us today, to make the trip over to Wigan to see the Warriors play Hull FC.

I use the word "play" loosely. Hull played. For the most part, Wigan just watched and facilitated that. We got thrashed basically.

Our Union player, Christian Wade is phenomenal when running with the ball, almost impossible to tackle. But for a winger he needs to be better at catching the ball. The Hull kicker realised he's vulnerable with the ball coming down from height and peppered him mercilessly, for rich reward.

The final score was 32-12 to FC. How can we have gone from invincible world beaters to this? 

To make it worse we lost another two players to injury. One of our remaining wingers went off with a leg injury and has gone for X-ray, and our star fullback failed a concussion so he's gone for at least 10 days too....

My Blip was taken of stormy weather on the motorway as we drove home. We're having a quick break for a drink and snack in the services, while hiding in the corner from a coach load of Hull fans!

Throughout the day I've been tracking Jeri on her 100 mile run. She's having a break currently...

I've added an extra for cat lovers of Minstrel helping Brian play an expert level of Picture Logic. Even with Minstrel's help, Brian did not manage to complete the level...
