Rainy Day

Minstrel woke me up by jumping forcefully onto my head. It was over an hour past his usual breakfast time, so he'd probably tried less brutal methods already. My reaction woke Brian, who went down to feed him. 

If I hadn't needed to pee I'd have gone back to sleep. Despite being still tired, I stayed up as it felt too late to be going back to bed. 

I've not felt properly awake all day, and I think the dull, wet weather has played a part in that. Brian went out to a meet up with his cousins but I stayed at home and just pottered about.

Once he was back we considered going out for a walk and finding Blips but the rain was really hammering down so we had lunch first.

It was still raining when we went out, though not as heavily fortunately. We saw a lovely dog with fluffy black fur like a cat. He enjoyed a dip in and drink from the pond. I took a photo of him but it was pretty bad. So here's a soggy flower!

Jeri's still running, and has only about 4 miles to go now. Says l who could not run 4 miles if you paid me, never mind 100!
