When I saw the heron (1st. extra) on my morning bike ride I was happily thinking it would be good enough for today's blip. However, on our afternoon walk, this golden ringed dragonfly persuaded me otherwise.
2nd. extra: Moments later, a car came barreling down the lane but, dear reader, the dragonfly was just inside the tyre of death and later fluttered off unharmed.
