Early Birthday Celebration

Thanks to all who commented on my yester-blip, it's lovely to be surrounded by nature. 

I've hardly had a minute to come up for air today as we spent the morning preparing for LMB's (early) birthday party. We decided to host it at home, with just a few of her besties this year and had hoped we'd have a garden party... But in typical British weather fashion, rain and thunderstorms appeared, doh! 

We made up for it thanks to my big pile of art and craft activities, and Mr B's projector and fancy lighting installed in our garage to make a 'cinema' party! We added some mini popcorn and the result was one happy group of kids.

Mr PP even popped over afterwards to help tidy up (not just the food I might add, but in the practical sense too!).

Since being woken before 6 by the smaller household members we're shattered, so off to bed we go*

*That is after we've reminded the tooth fairy to pay a visit to the birthday girl, who lost tooth no. 3 today!
