Weather Stripping

While we were gone yesterday, my brother came and put new weather stripping on our front door

Something I would have done myself once upon a time but fatigue and other issues just don’t have me tackling things like this anymore.

I really really appreciate him doing this for me especially since he has just spent two weeks in Westray at our parents’ house and working there the whole time doing things my Dad can no longer do about the house. As I told my brother’s wife when she went to pick him up at the airport, he now needs a vacation!

After 2 busy days, back to back and another day of hot weather (heat index of 107°F) I am having a day of little activity.

I’ve washed the bed linen and Kent put the bed back together. I made my mac & cheese for today’s & tomorrow’s lunch and spent the rest of my time researching various things regarding future purchases needed for the new house.
