Out fishing
It is very rarely I see anyone fishing in the river. I would imagine it is too fast flowing to harbour many fish but maybe there are a few trout in the quieter eddies. We had a visiting band of ringers from Bath at the practice last night and before the service this morning. That meant our tower captain asked me to ring some methods which are more demanding and supposed to stretch me. That is good practice, but it always makes me feel rather nervous when I am accompanied by a talented band. If there is a mistake, it will be me! I watched the beginning of today’s stage of the Tour de France which finishes in Carcassonne, only a couple of hours away. Two of our friends have driven up to spectate. I spent the afternoon with my book.
Many thanks for the hearts and stars on my blip milestone yesterday.
