Air Ambulance Charity Push
The Drigg Young farmers club were pushing a car dressed as a helicopter from Drigg village to the Air Ambulance Base at Langwathby over two days. We knew they would be passing our house so sat at the gate to watch them go through. There was quite a convoy of cars and vans with them and on the down hills the pushers jumped on board for a free wheel, so as they passed our house they were going quite quickly. Ray managed to take this photo (I was busy trying to get to their donation bucket,) I only got a glimpse of the "helicopter" and the only photo I got was the back of the last convoy vehicle as it was disappearing down the road.
Well done to them all; at the last check they had raised over £26,000
