Garlic

Lifted some garlic (and a couple of onions). This is the stuff that just appeared in the bed, leftovers from last year, and has thrived. Big chonky bulbs so I think I'll be keeping most of it to resow the cloves in the autumn and have a bumper crop next year (hopefully).

Otherwise a day of tidying. Cleared out the dried up and dead stuff in the greenhouse and did some major tidying in the garage. The place is a mess - so much so that I can't actually get anything done so I've been cutting up hoarded wood for burning and throwing away things that "might" come in handy. Might need to be a bit more brutal on that front.

Also picked 2kg of cherries off the tree before the blackbirds ate them all. They're as sour as hell so sugar and a few litres of vodka should mean a nice liqueur by Christmas.
