Machines
When I was tidying the garage yesterday I came across the partner of the pannier that lives on the tractor and today, when I was tidying the garage some more I noticed that it had developed a little hole on the bottom where the fabric rubs against the stiff plastic back. So I drilled out the rivets holding the back on, unpicked the seams around the bottom of the back and glued in a reinforcement and then sewed the whole thing back up, apart from the bit where I sewed right through the side pocket and had to unpick that and do it again. And since I was at the machines I fixed a problem with the new bag for the electric, and added little side flaps to the lid to keep the rain out.
While I was doing that the postie delivered the latest broken project - a little GoPro camera. It seems to be properly knackered - water damage - but there's hope yet. Drone guys gut them and strip them back to the motherboard and lens to get the weight down. Doing that assumes the water damage is confined to the area where it was getting in and hasn't fried anything else. We'll see.
