Second-time-around

Shower clouds

The forecast was wrong - there was a yellow weather warning for heavy rain. There have been a few showers and now the blue sky has changed to grey.

Back in May my biopsy was cancelled because my blood pressure readings weren’t satisfactory. Since then I’ve been trying to find out what the several readings they took were. (The so- called discharge report should have revealed that, but it was a work of fiction not written until two weeks later, and written by someone who was not present on the day of the biopsy). I was told to contact the ‘disclosures’ department and they told me it would take 16 weeks to answer my question. A few weeks later I got an email saying they needed to see my driving licence to prove my identity. Then a long silence. Then on Friday I got this :

“Dear Mrs xxxxx

Please find enclosed your requested copies of Health Records. To access these records, you will need to use a PC or laptop not a mobile device.
Please note there is an expiry date set (approximately 30 days), after the date has elapsed the file will no longer be accessible. We recommend these are downloaded at your earliest convenience.
You will need to use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari to open the Kiteworks website, the system is not supported by Internet Explorer or Firefox.
For the password(s) to access the information please refer to our ‘important information’ e-mail. Please check your junk inbox if you are unable to locate it. The passwords have been sent separately for security purposes.”

There was more! I haven’t done all that yet! I do wonder what NHS money is spent on, if it takes all this just to get some simple blood pressure readings!
