An Unexpected Perspective…
… But I’ll take it.
I’ve had catch ups with important people today and the news of our challenging situation is, for the greater part, really as good as it could possibly be.
(One day I’ll be much less enigmatic about things, but for now, news isn’t mine to impart and Blip is, even in one’s tiny journal, very ‘open’).
It’s not just raining here it’s ‘thundrin and litenin’ and comin’ down like stair rods. I was (?) just about to pop out but, in all honesty… Hmm?
Maybe it’s a clearing up shower. (That’s a phrase Himself is inclined to use when the sky is the darkest grey imaginable. Along with another favourite, the cheerfully toned, ‘we’re nearly there now’, when we’re SO clearly not and I already have blisters. Those two phrases are the most likely to cause friction, if not divorce, until I remind myself about the benefits of living with an eternal optimist… And there are many.
The sky is lighter already.
