Ullswater

Lake swim.
This was plan B. After breakfast (and hawk moth spotting in the garden), Plan A was to walk from Askham along the Lowther in search of a swim near Whale but it was soon abandoned when the rain started. We headed over to Ullswater (continuing B’s tour of Cumbria’s tiniest roads) and swam in the rain (watery drip blips in extras … soon to be deleted). Then we went back to Askham for deliciously different pizzas … thanks to Beedy’s excellent recommendation : )
Home for a quick cuppa before B made her late trek back down the delightful M6.
