Ailsa Hospital

To the beautiful wee hospital beside the big hospital today for results and a blether with the nurse consultant. It seems that the cancer has metastasised to the liver. It’s a concern but not as major as I feared. Just more hormones onto what I’m already taking in the hope that I respond to the treatment.

Today’s blip is the garden attached to the Kyle Chemotherapy Unit where all my appointments are based now. It’s extremely beautiful and lifts the soul.

The extra photo is the bell which is rung when someone gets the all clear. Not ringing today, but with the expertise on hand it must be rung often!
