Rose

Between the showers and office work I went out into the garden with Millie who annoyingly keeps doing a disappearing act. I thought there would be hundreds of insects around but in fact there were remarkably few. The rose shot was a safety shot for blip but it ended up doing what I thought an insect might, in being my blip. 

Bought by my mother-in -law when the kids were very small as a Mother's Day gift, it was transplanted a couple of years ago in the bucket of a digger to give the roots a chance but honestly it hasn't thrived. I thought it was dead but suddenly a shoot has sprouted this. Time will tell.
