Outside!

I’ve not been going out very much since my operation but after talking about it at the weekend with L I realised I need to start getting back to some sort of normality. Last night we went round to M and E’s to play a boardgame - we took Family Business, an old favourite we haven’t played for a while. This afternoon we went for a walk along the Prom. All went well and it felt good to be back out there, in the local community. I did see one person I knew, which added to the sense of belonging. And then, after we got back I heard from the hospital that my follow-up appointment has been arranged for tomorrow. They said I seem to have been missed but the physio chasing up my appointment that was on her schedule must have prompted them to do something so all good in the end.
