Emergency blip!
Ran out of time, I’m not sure why! My leg is sore from the bite and I fretted a bit about Ben’s bloods which were very high overnight. I had a call with the care home around 6:30am and was satisfied they were ‘on it’ and then went to Sainsburys and did a bit of cleaning. I’ve also been trying to sit down and rest my foot in between stuff :-) I walked Leo around the block but gave up after that as I was too sore walking, he’s been in the garden enough to keep him entertained for the day.. after lunch my mum and step dad came for a cup of tea which was very nice. Leo was a giddy boy! They made the tea and I rested my foot (as instructed!) I could get used to that! The social worker did a welfare visit to Ben this afternoon so I had some feedback from her that he was happy and chatty despite the dodgy night with blood sugars.. reassuring to know the system works well in terms of getting ‘eyes on him’ :-)
Later on I’ve made some salad for tea and hobbled with Leo to the end of the road to do his business (he just won’t do it in the garden!)
Now it’s time for tea and sleep!
