Rain

It was a day of ceaseless and rather trying rain. I closed the windows and ran the dehumidifier all day to reduce the humidity indoors. No wind at all. 

It was slightly lighter rain when I went swimming with a small group in the early evening but that was only short respite. There will be no more garden watering, possibly for the rest of the summer.

The swimming was lovely and had left me very relaxed and sleepy. In fact, I've already had an accidental 20 minute snooze this evening.
