Victoria House

Had a dry dog walk this morning.  It felt fresher but was comfortable in shorts and sleeveless top.

Loaded up the bike again with two full panniers of books for the Oxfam bookshop.  

Spotted this painted sign in Hilda Street.  I've been on Hilda Street many times checking or depositing books in the free library but hadn't noticed the sign before.

Whizzed round the market getting supplies.  

Headed to Ori Café in John Lewis to meet bestie Anna for coffee and catch-up.  

She was keen to see the photos from the late 1980s of us and colleagues.  She enlightened me about some individuals but a couple we just couldn't recall.  I gave the photos to Anna as she still sees some of the former colleagues. 

Rather than be sad about this possibly last meeting together in Cambridge we pledged to do Zoom calls and meet up in Norwich which is almost midway train-travelling time our different directions.  And eventually when we've settled in Sheringham Anna will visit to stay for a while.   She's even looked up the buses which is more than I have!   We parted with a friendly hug.

Back home, lunch and more packing.  I got very hot in the process.

Just had a refreshing shower.  Been watching 'Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters' on itv.  I don't as a rule like reality shows.  But I'm interested in the sea and it's biodiversity.
