Sunshine after the rain

It rained on and off most of the day.  I was hoping to get some time in the garden, but was not prepared to weed in the rain - hoping for better weather tomorrow.  Instead, I did ironing, and hung the next load of wet washing on the indoor racks.  Then a huge supermarket shop.

Late afternoon, the sun came out.  This is one of a small group of sunflowers grown from seed.
