Ferns

We have ferns.  Clearly not all the same species.  But I'm struggling to identify them. They're all growing in the "controlled wild" area beside (or in some cases on) the roadside ditch.  

Today I had a weeding session on this area.  I cleared bracken (which is, of course, also a fern, but far too vigorous!) and lots of willow herb.  I also cut down some of the foxgloves and thistles.

I also edged and weeded another flower bed.

W planted achillea.

A reasonable day, but we did have to dodge a few rain showers.
