Timber!!

Yesterday morning our next door neighbour alerted us that a large branch on the big tree at the bottom of our garden had broken, and seemed to be dangling perilously over his garden shed. This morning we had a tree surgeon round to look at it, and to quote us for removing several other branches which appear to be dead or are just looking dangerous. He reassured us that the branch is unlikely to fall any further, as it’s still quite well attached, and quoted us for the tricky job of making it all safer. Access is quite difficult, so they’ll have to climb up to do all the work.
It’s going to cost quite a lot!
