Dover-Bound

We hosted another cycle-tourist last night, Janet from Nuremberg. She has ridden down from John o’Groats and is heading for Dover. Although the earlier heavy rains (and thunderstorm) had moved away for the day she opted to sleep on the living room floor rather than pitch her tent in the garden. As a girl she grew up in East Germany, so it was interesting to hear about her life then.
