A meeting this morning with curators at the War Memorial’s research centre who were interested in K’s father’s WWII memorabilia - hand-made dice for playing two-up (the Perspex ones made from pieces from a crashed plane), a boomerang sweetheart brooch made from a toothbrush, a bracelet of Dutch East Indies guilders, a hand-knitted balaclava and mittens. They accepted the lot including his photo album.
