Parliament House

We wandered from one monumental building to another crossing bare expanses and major roads: the national gallery for Cezanne to Giacometti, the new national portrait gallery for the photographs, the national library for an exhibition of press photos that turned out to have closed yesterday, and finally new (1988) Parliament House.

Canberra has famously been described as a waste of a good sheep paddock (extra). The official name is Ainslie’s Sheep, the artist Les Kossatz.

Thanks for hosting JacZero.
