Colourful baskets

I paid the price this morning for getting down to the market 15 minutes later than usual. My usual car park was already full and I had to go round the town twice and park in a distant car park. There were far queues at the stalls but at least I got everything I went for. As the produce is nearly all local, you soon get to know what is coming to the end of its season. I can no longer get spinach and very few stalls still have Swiss chard or kale. Green beans seem to be the order of the day now. The peaches and apricots are still going strong but not the strawberries. I buy an excess of apricots each week as they freeze well. I went back into town late in the morning to take Mrs.TT for her dental appointment.
