Bodgit & Scarper, joiners and builders to the rock star community, have been in action again today, following a request from Stuart to bring my drill with me when I came through to Barrow for our weekly coffee this morning.
Like all our previous jobs at this property, the unit has been fitted with our trademark “one of the wall plugs doesn’t really grip anything” method of mounting. I’ve told him not to put any heavy spices on the left hand side.
And, due to what I can only assume was a cockup somewhere along the way, we appear to have actually put it up plumb level. Unless that spirit level is faulty.
This afternoon was spent in another two hour “chat” with TalkTalk. It would appear yesterday’s advice was just a load of bo***cks as nothing they said should be possible, was actually possible when I tried to put it into practice.
I have now been assured that the “backend” team will sort the issue in the next few working days.
I’m not holding my breath…
