A splendid view
We get up with our alarm at 6:30 on a weekday, I often wonder if I would just carry on sleeping without my phone. Quick walk with Hetty over to see the pigs and back for breakfast. Because of the position we are parked I hadn’t noticed the lovely view from the back doors until hubby opened them this morning when I was sorting the bed.
We went to Sutton bank area and did a walk along the ridge, which William Wordsworth said was the finest view in England, not sure I agree but is was rather lovely. Got back to site and took a walk down to the wildlife pond and stream, which was not as described by the site owner. The path was over grown, the pond was tiny and almost dry and the bridge across the stream was not complete so unusable. Hetty got covered in so many seeds it took me nearly an hour to pick them out of her long hair and around her feet and legs. The best part of the pond area was the small flock of Jacob sheep.
Rained at the start of out walk but by the time we stopped for lunch it was dry and warm, and continued getting warmer all the way back.
