Another hot day in the cupboard at work. Two fans were whirring away. Saw a client with their carer. Enormous challenges in finding work. It’s a very uneven world. So much has happened in my clients’ lives in the scant ten days I’ve been away from my desk.

The big disappointment of the day was that an air pump I’d ordered to take camping (for the airbed) is a dud. I have to return it, and Amazon will refund my postage soon, and eventually the seller will refund me too. Meanwhile I’ve ordered another model. I really should stick to bricks-and mortar-shops.

Now watching England’s women not-quite-exiting the Euros, with a last minute goal over Italy. Over to extra time now.

Steve’s just told me that Ozzy Osbourne has died.
