Sunflower weed ... growing strong

Early morning start moving the gigs back from the slip to the quay. One of the team had a disastrous start to her day. WFH, eldest son on an end of term school trip - to find that she had forgotten to pay, daughter's first day of summer holiday looking forward to a fun filled day, slipped in the mud and nearly broke her phone ... Thankfully the row went well. We rowed one boat, towed the second - rained on us but all sorted.

Met up with B for a muddy walk along the canal from Hoe Mill. Too slippy to go far, so we turned after 1.5k. Went for coffee and lunch at the PearTree Pantry. Delicious as always. 

Then home to go for a walk with G. His first trip outside the house since back from the hospital.  A bit light headed, but took his time. He said that he was glad that he went. We spotted the sunflower in the building works (that should have been completed before Easter).
