Sunny reflections

I wonder if anyone can work out how I did this. Photoshop was not involved and this picture was straight out of my camera.

I am installing a lighting tube in our landing which is very dark as it has no windows.

The system involves the use of highly reflective tubing to channel the light from a skylight into the house. This is a picture of a geranium sitting at the bottom of one of the tubes. What is amazing is the fact that this is 1 metre down a narrow tube and the sun is way off to the side. The geranium and grass are still illuminated by sunlight.

It also gives some very strange optical illusions. As you approach the tube from the side you see the geranium in 3 dimensions rising out of the mouth of the tube.

Weird!
