Front and Back

After a full day in the office, G suggested going for a walk, so I put some warm clothes on and we did a circuit around the park. One of the first things we came across was the lodge in my blip. It's a double, obviously prepared to be taken off-site. I'd love to watch how they separate it for transportation. We saw other lodges that looked ready to be carted away. I'd love to get an insight into the stories there and what happened.

The big thing today was two workmen coming to take a look at the decking and lodge and give a quote to paint it. I have to say, I did not expect to find myself having to speak in Urdu (they would have preferred Punjabi) to workmen in this country! They have worked here for a few years, but if I accept their quote, this might be the first lodge they have tackled.

The rest of the day was productive with G doing her second online lesson of her Urban Sketching course. Oh, the collapsible work desk that I ordered didn't get delivered. I wonder if it's going to be another Royal Mail collect jobbie.

The temperature was great today. It wasn't hot, it wasn't cold. It was just right.
