WIDE WEDNESDAY - LONG

It may not seem to be “on theme” but it has been too LONG since I sorted out any birthday cards - for instance, my 60th which was almost 20 years ago!  Having chatted with a good friend, she suggested that I take a photograph of them all and then ditch the actual cards - what a great idea!

So here are some of my 60th birthday cards (I can see a little interloper with “Grandad” on the front and also an anniversary card!) and also some of Mr. HCB’s 80th cards - which was only 3 years ago, but he isn’t at all sentimental about keeping things - at least not quite like me!  I did ask him before he went off to cricket whether he wanted to keep his cards and he said emphatically “No”!

Perhaps I should have kept one or two of his with an 80 on the front, so that he could make one for my 80th birthday in December - oh forget it, he’s not into crafting like that!  

I saw the shot I have put in as an extra the other day - definitely me!
