Growing again
It was only last week that I blipped this hay-field having been freshly harvested. It looks like a third crop is already well on the way, which is more than can be said for our front lawn – see extra.
Our lawn normally recovers very quickly when we get a drop of rain, but not this patch this time. It was very thick with thatch, so this morning I got the electric lawn rake out and scarified it, and put some grass seed out for the birds . . . :-))
Biskit was a bit poorly today. This morning he caught himself on the wooden knob of a chest of draws in his excitement when I went to pick him up, and he hit it hard enough to brake it off! Result - upset stomach and pain killers from the vet this afternoon, plus another mortgage . . .
