Another 500er

This jigsaw had such great memories when examining it.  I had so many of the LP’s (well my mum and dad did.

New six week programme at the class.  The Tuesday class is majority over 50s .  It’s probably more over 60s as there is only one lady in her 50s!  It was warm in the class despite the blowers on.

S went to visit fellow Blipper Scott in Dunfermline in the afternoon.  They seemed to drink lots of tea and plenty good chat.  Glad to hear he’s slowly improving after a very serious health scare the other week.

S was sent to eye A and E by his optician today after the examination yesterday as he had a particle of sand in his eye after the Durness camping adventure.  Not doing anything as the skin has grown over it on the cornea and it’s not causing him irritation atm.

Called the Council's Bereavement Services Department which is based at the Council as I needed to get my name put on record as the Lair Owner for our family plot at Blackford Graveyard.  Mum was on record as the last owner, of course, the first being my Papa, her Dad.  There can only be one owner, so my brother has to sign the form that she e:mailed me later saying that my brother has to sign something to agree to me being the owner of the plot!  Herein lies the problem, cos for some reason he isn't speaking to me....  Mum would be so upset at that, for sure.  I have no idea why other than my SiL told me that he was unhappy that I  didn't hand over Mum's iPad to him and he thought I gave it to Cameron (I didn't).  And that I haven't distributed her jewellery (she only had her wedding ring, engagement ring, a gold chain and a gold bracelet .  The rest was costume jewellery.  She wasn't one for lots of fancy stuff, just these things.  It's really sad that he is being like this.

I walked down to the library in the afternoon to take a jigsaw back (this one).  There was a young lad sitting at the table, studying,at the table next to the jigsaw stand and I started to speak to him as Lucca was standing staring (hoping for a treat).  We had an Interesting chat for around 10 minutes.  He is Ethiopian and is in his third year studying here to become an aeronautical engineer.  His English was so good.  I asked him where he hopes to get a job when he is finished his studies and he wants to stay in Scotland and work in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.  He was def looking the part wearing a Scotland football top.  What a lovely young man he was.  I said I may see you again and he said he is always at this seat when studying at the library.  There is an aeronautical course at Perth College .

I walked home and just had a tea of vegetable and egg and an apple crumble and ice cream.

We are really enjoying a drama from Netflix starring Bill Pullman called The Sinner.
