Blackberries at the RUH

There were plenty of ripe ones as well, but I liked the delicate little flower.

Early bus into Bath to be reunited with my phone and to have a catch-up with my BC friend, who then kindly gave me a lift to the hospital.

Dad doing a little better today but slept most of the four hours that I spent with him. Had a long chat with the doc who agreed with me that, given recent happenings, Hospital at Home is definitely the support we need on discharge. So, what with the doctors strike starting on Friday, and availability of the service, Dad will stay at the RUH until at least Monday. 

Following the doctor's advice, I'm taking the day off tomorrow and have asked N to visit in my place. If anything changes, the doc will phone and I'll go in. An overcast muggy day of 23 degrees.
