Bramblers

I had to pick up a prescription this morning so we went into town on the bus.

We went to a Cafe called Bramblers on St John Street and there had the best coffee I’ve had since Copenhagen. It was perfect and alongside it a jamoretti, also good. Also a very nice young man that owns and runs it.

Had a walk afterwards, got bits and pieces and butcher meat at Lindsays.

Walked home, S got the bus with Lucca. Boy it was warm again.

Had an afternoon tidying up the side bit of the house where all the water had left rubbish in a line along the stones.

A went to Edinburgh to meet his former colleagues and was going to the Food Festival. He sent me a pic of a banner with Sicilian street food with Arancini!

Watered the plants, took Lucca a walk and now I’m sitting doing the Blip and thinking about Mum, how it was two years ago that she had her last full day in this world. Two years…..
