Nîmes et Uzès

We drove Charlie and Hannah to Nîmes, this morning, to drop them at the train station: Hannah is heading back to Salford, and Charlie is off to visit a friend in Marseille. 

We got there early enough to take in the amphitheatre and the Maison Carrée (see my Extras), and to get a bite to eat. 

And having waved the girls off, we drove to Uzès: we were so taken with it the other day that the Minx booked us a hotel there for a little holiday within a holiday. 

We had a good mooch around, taking in all of the interesting little shops, before finding ourselves a table outside a bar on the Main Street where we enjoyed food and drinks while reading our books.
