Esplanade Charles de Gaulle

We had a great night's sleep thanks, in part, to an indulgent evening, but mostly down to the air conditioning.

From Uzès we headed back to Nîmes, this time to collect the miniMinx from the station.

One unfortunate similarity between France and England would appear to be the cost and reliability of the trains: €50 for an hour's journey, delayed by three and a half hours.

Still, we are experts in remote working and finding places to do that, so we moved from cafés to bars, and got on with our days whilst waiting for the miniMinx's eventual arrival.

Despite everything, she was on great form when she finally reached us, and we set off home so she could enjoy the swimming pool before dinner.
