A beautiful day in the garden

The weather was wonderful today, warm and sunny with a light breeze and I was more than happy to spend the day in the garden with the birds (mainly sparrows), the bees (hundreds of them on the lavender), and the butterflies (more than I have seen in a long time, mainly Small Whites but one Peacock and I’m pretty sure a few Large Whites). The huge bonus is that the builders at my next door neighbour’s house seem to be off on holiday this week so it was quiet and peaceful, bliss!
