Foix Castle
We drove some 120km from Homps to Foix, to walk around the medieval town and castle.
Janet has a tendency to read every work on every label when she's in a museum, and there were plenty here. I have the tendency to take in as much as I can without having to ready anything, find my way past the gift shop and get a few espressos down while I wait.
So I got to the top of the tower first. ;-)
Given that it is a medieval town, with the traditional narrow streets and constrained views, I took this shot on the edge of town, into the Sun, using HDR processing. It does give the sky an appropriately Dracula effect...
I also got photobombed by some floosie. I suppose I could edit her out but what's the point... she'll turn up again before long.
