Its been a very enjoyable day today, starting with an early paddle for Tess at Bassenthwaite.  With her being in season I'm avoiding going to places where there are lots of male dogs.  So far so good!  Afterwards I had another look in the car park for the lost collar and two leads.  I thought perhaps someone might have chucked them in the long grass, but of course I didn't find them.  Never mind.  

Afterwards we went to meet DerwentLass (Sue) and hubby (Ray) in their home nr Cockermouth.  I was dying to see their garden as knew it was very much like mine.  I don't have the lovely views they have though!  I was very interested in their two wild flower areas.  Absolutely amazing (extras) and I really want to see if I can do something like that in my garden for next year.  Tess was very interested in the ponies in the paddock behind the garden (extras).  I think that's the closest she's ever got to one.  Lots of chatting was done over coffee and delicious home made cake :)
