Bizarre

An afternoon walk with Arlo at Edgelaw again, although it hasn't rained for a few days, the long grass was still wet so I avoided going through it on our loop. This is the river the feeds the reservoir with what looks like a scum topping very articularly formed. The river is very low and flowing slowly so the patterns are almost stationary. I followed the river up to the start of the patterns and could see there were little bubbles gathering and then slowly compressed and the bubbles were flowing down the river as far as I could walk but quite sparse. I have to assume the channels of patterns were made by the underwater flows. It was all quite bizarre...
