Wild flower patch

Last year I took a photo of this wild flower bed, which is at the end of our lane, on the 26th July. Today it isn’t looking quite as good as many of the flowers have already gone to seed. Just shows how everything is advanced this year.

It has been a very warm and muggy day.
We have however decided to have a barbecue.
We have put together the new table and chairs and are very pleased with how sturdy they are. We managed to follow the instructions. All the screws etc were there, and although slightly awkward all fitted together without too much trouble. Well done B&Q.

Our eldest son and daughter-in - law have moved house today. Looking forward to visiting them in their new home soon. Just a short drive south down the M1. A lovely village in the countryside south of Wakefield.

More family news is that after his operation my brother-in-law is due to be discharged from hospital today. 

So now to open a bottle of rosé and say ‘ cheers ‘ to them all.
